Areas of responsibility and competencies for the entry-level health educator have been set by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC). In addition to the NCHEC competencies, you may also want to review competencies for public health professionals set by the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice.
